Paul Mescal continues his impressive ascent in Hollywood with a leading role in the highly anticipated historical gay romance, THE HISTORY OF SOUND, set to hit theaters on September 12.
Fresh off its debut at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival, where it garnered a 65% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes, this Mubi acquisition sees Mescal star as Lionel opposite Josh O’Connor’s David.
