Ireland’s Oscar 2022 nominations

Ireland is on track for historic Oscar recognition! Kenneth Branagh’s BELFAST movie has made Oscar history with the most ever nominations for an Irish film. Director Kenneth Branagh was nominated for Best Director, Best Original Screenplay and Best Picture. Ciarán Hinds is up for Best Actor in a Supporting Role while Kerry actress Jessie Buckley has also received a nomination for her role in the Netflix drama, THE LOST DAUGHTER. The 94th Oscars will take place on March 27th.
