A KNIGHT OF THE SEVEN KINGDOMS Emmy win

The 78th Creative Arts Emmy Awards wrapped up its second ceremony this weekend at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, capping a two-night format that now serves as the lead-in to the televised Primetime Emmy Awards on September 14, airing live on NBC and Peacock. Among the night’s standout wins was A KNIGHT OF THE SEVEN KINGDOMS, which took home Outstanding Stunt Performance for its episode “In the Name of the Mother.”

The series, streaming on HBO Max, is produced by HBO in association with George R. R. Martin (GRRM) and Friendly Wolf Pictures, and was filmed across Northern Ireland with support from Northern Ireland Screen — a proud showcase for the region’s growing production industry. The win recognises the show’s stunt team: Zach Roberts, Gyula Tóth, Chris Cox and Jake Cox, whose work helped bring the episode’s action to life. A KNIGHT OF THE SEVEN KINGDOMS isn’t done yet either — it’s also up for Outstanding Drama Series at the Primetime Emmy Awards on September 14, giving Northern Ireland’s film community another date to watch.
