The trailer introduces us to Helen, played with remarkable vulnerability by Claire Foy, in the immediate aftermath of her father’s sudden death. Brendan Gleeson appears as the father whose absence becomes the film’s gravitational center, a presence felt most acutely through his lack. Produced by Dede Gardner and Jeremy Kleiner, the film premiered at the Telluride Film Festival where it earned praise particularly for its authentic portrayal of falconry—the kind of specific, tactile detail that transforms metaphor into lived experience.
