Andrew Scott’s career review
Andrew Scott: Actors on Actors
Irish actors feature heavily in this season of Vanity Fair’s ACTORS ON ACTORS. In this episode, ALL OF OF STRANGERS star Andrew Scott chats with PAST LIVES star Greta Lee, in which they discuss first time as film leads, how they got the roles, what it’s like to portray falling in love and their deep theatrical roots. And yes, they also discuss Scott’s now infamous role as “Hot Priest” in FLEABAG!
Andrew Scott in Vanity Fair
In a new Vanity Fair interview, ALL OF US STRANGERS star Andrew Scott discusses the emotional connection, technical intensity, and tight bond with Paul Mescal that helped him take on, and nail, the role of a lifetime. In ALL OF US STRANGERS, he plays Adam, a screenwriter who’s living alone in a London tower block and has his world turned upside down with a few chance encounters. One is with Harry (Paul Mescal), a neighbor he slowly falls for. Another is with his parents, who died 30 years ago—but appear to him now in the form of Claire Foy and Jamie Bell, as if they had never passed on.

During the GQ ceremony, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, who starred alongside Scott in the hit TV series FLEABAG, and Gatwa’s SEX EDUCATION co-star Jodie Turner-Smith were among those who gave a toast to the cover stars.
Andrew Scott talks VANYA
Double Olivier Award winning actor Andrew Scott talks to Graham Norton ahead of returning to London’s glittering West End to star in a new adaption of VANYA. Co-created by Scott, along with Simon Stephens, Sam Yates and Rosanna Vize, the story follows Chekhov’s closely, although Stephen’s adaptation is in modern vernacular with anglicised names and not a samovar in sight.
ANDREW SCOTT interview
FLEABAG’s hot priest, Andrew Scott, is about to take on his most liberating role yet: a one-man show of Chekhov’s Uncle Vanya in which he will play all nine roles, male and female. In the coming months, Scott will be everywhere: a trick of scheduling, rather than by design. VANYA will be followed in December by the release of ALL OF US STRANGERS, a film in which he stars with Paul Mescal and Claire Foy.
Scott and Mescal in ALL OF US STRANGERS
Two of Ireland’s best-rising stars are set to appear together in a drama-fantasy film that’s got us hooked. Paul Mescal (NORMAL PEOPLE) and Andrew Scott (FLEABAG) play two men living in London whose first meeting changes their lives and sets in motion a series of surreal events. The film will revolve around the performances of Mescal and Scott, who’ve both been breaking into Hollywood with films like AFTERSUN and CATHERINE CALLED BIRDY respectively and is set to release on 22nd December.
