Mescal’s GLADIATOR challenge
Ridley Scott’s GLADIATOR 2 hits theatres on Nov 22 with ALL OF US STRANGERS star Paul Mescal and already the industry is doing the math on what would make the sequel a success. The first movie starring Russell Crowe’s Maximus made $460 million at the box office during its initial release. It remains Scott’s record high even as GLADIATOR 2 approaches. Even if the sequel manages to surpass the original’s total, it will take making significantly more for the sequel to match the first movie’s performance and profitability.
