Buckley’s Oscar nom is ‘a wild dream come true’

Kerry actress Jessie Buckley says she is “in complete shock” after being nominated for her first Oscar, getting the nod for best supporting actress for her performance as Leda in Netflix psycho-drama THE LOST DAUGHTER. The film is Maggie Gyllenhaal’s adaptation of the Elena Ferrante novel of the same name. “I am in complete shock! The Lost Daughter is so special to me,” Buckley said following the announcement.
