It hardly seems believable that it’s 10 years since Tommy Shelby first rode that black horse through the streets of Birmingham. The message was shared to the official Peaky Blinders Instagram page, which added: “Huge thanks to our incredible fans for the past ten years. Here’s to the next ten…” Following the show’s season six finale last year, Knight revealed plans to make a film that would serve as the seventh and final chapter.

The creator of BBC drama PEAKY BLINDERS, Steven Knight, has confirmed there will be a spin-off film featuring familiar faces and new cast members. The Bafta-nominated show, starring Cillian Murphy, ran for six series from 2013 to 2022. “I can tell you that there’s going to be a film, a feature film,” he told Heart Breakfast with Jamie Theakston and Zoe Hardman. When asked if the film was definitely confirmed, Birmingham-born Knight replied: “Yep, by me, right now.”
