The third instalment of Netflix’s steamy smash hit BRIDGERTON, which is based on the books by Julia Quinn, will see Nicola as the season’s diamond, and the Galway native is ready to step into the spotlight. With a potential romance between her character, Penelope Featherington and Colin all teed up, it’s now a matter of when. The season will be released in two parts, with the first four episodes landing on Netflix on May 16, and the remaining four coming out on June 13.

Netflix has confirmed that new season of BRIDGERTON will be split into two four-episode parts, with Part One premiering on 16 May 2024, followed by Part Two on 13 June. According to the official synopsis for the new season, BRIDGERTON is back for its third season and finds Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan) has finally given up on her long-held crush on Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton) after hearing his disparaging words about her last season.

The first look at DERRY GIRLS actress Nicola Coughlan on the set of the upcoming season of DOCTOR WHO has been released. Known for her breakout roles in DERRY GIRLS and BRIDGERTON, Coughlan will be guest starring alongside SEX EDUCATION star Ncuti Gatwa’s DOCTOR WHO. The show’s 15th series will also introduce CORONATION STREET‘s Millie Gibson as the Doctor’s companion, Ruby Sunday. Gatwa’s Doctor is set to debut on Christmas Day this year, with an episode entitled THE CHURCH ON RUBY ROAD.
