SUGAR the new Apple TV+ mystery series starring Colin Farrell, understands the moody appeal of the City of Angels. The Southern Californian setting was one of the primary factors that attracted the BANSHEES OF INISHERIN star to the series. Farrell thinks L.A. is the perfect setting for a character like Sugar to explore, since he describes the detective as “a keen observer of human behavior.” “There’s nowhere really more fascinating in so many different ways in the world than this city,” Farrell notes. “It’s so kaleidoscopic.” SUGAR premieres Friday, April 5, on Apple TV+.

SUGAR Star Colin Farrell returns to Gotham City as Oz Cobb, aka Oswald Cobblepot, in the trailer for THE PENGUIN a spinoff series of THE BATMAN coming this fall to Max. “The Penguin” takes place immediately following the events of DC’s 2022 blockbuster, tracing Cobblepot’s rise to power in the Gotham underworld as he becomes one of the most prominent villains in the “Batman” universe. Farrell gives a classic gangster monologue throughout the trailer, which slowly ramps up the violence and gunfights in Gotham City’s seedy underground.

Colin Farrell is a private investigator determined to find a missing woman in the trailer for Apple TV+’s SUGAR. The Oscar nominee portrays John Sugar, who is hired to find the missing granddaughter of legendary Hollywood producer Jonathan Siegel. As he dives into her mysterious disappearance, the private investigator begins unearthing Siegel family secrets that were never meant to be uncovered. The first two episodes of SUGAR premiere on Apple TV+ on April 5, followed by one new episode every Friday until the finale May 17.

Best known for his Oscar-nominated performance in THE BANSHEES OF INISHERIN, Colin Farrell is returning to television in a big way for the first time since TRUE DETECTIVE season 2. He’ll reprise the role of THE PENGUIN, which he originated in 2022’s THE BATMAN, for the upcoming Max spinoff show. He’ll also lead the upcoming Apple TV+ drama SUGAR, executive producing both projects. The series will land on Apple TV+ on April 5th.
