WICKED LITTLE LETTERS star Jessie Buckley will soon grace our screens in the upcoming THE BRIDE. Directed by Maggie Gyllenhaal, and unlike most previous versions of the Frankenstein story, the film is set in 1930s Chicago, with Jessie Buckley taking on the titular role and Christian Bale playing the monster. Jessie Buckley will re-unite with her THE LOST DAUGHTER director, Maggie Gyllenhaal, in a remake of THE BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN. Warner Brothers will release Gyllenhaal’s film on October 3rd, 2025.
