Best known for his Oscar-nominated performance in THE BANSHEES OF INISHERIN, Colin Farrell is returning to television in a big way for the first time since TRUE DETECTIVE season 2. He’ll reprise the role of THE PENGUIN, which he originated in 2022’s THE BATMAN, for the upcoming Max spinoff show. He’ll also lead the upcoming Apple TV+ drama SUGAR, executive producing both projects. The series will land on Apple TV+ on April 5th.

Created and written by Victor Levin (MAD ABOUT YOU, MAD MEN), the series features Andrea Riseborough and Gleeson as the titular characters in what distributor Fremantle described as a “love story for the ages.” The synopsis for the series adds when they first meet they’re bound by a connection so powerful it seems nothing can break it, but will their path lead them to a place of happiness and togetherness? Or will life and their own emotional complexities get in the way.

SALTBURN‘s Barry Keoghan stars in the upcoming MASTERS OF THE AIR, on Apple TV+ Jan 26. The latest installment in the BAND OF BROTHERS war drama, the series is based on the book Masters Of The Air: America’s Bomber Boys Who Fought the Air War Against Nazi Germany by Donald L. Miller and tells the story of the US Army’s elite Eighth Air Force of the United States Army, who brought the war to Hitler’s doorstep by bombing Berlin, Hanover, Leipzig and Dresden, destroying enemy targets like rail facilities and oil refineries, while also being expected to engage in air-to-air fighter combat at 25,000ft.

The 60-year-old Massachusetts-born star made pitstops in Dublin, Galway and Limerick while filming for his new travel show CONAN O’BRIEN MUST GO, as he maps out his Irish family heritage.
