ALICE AND JACK star Domnhall Gleeson is doing the interview rounds in advance of the Valentine’s Day premiere of his new tv series. The STAR WARS star and son of actor Brendan Gleeson appeared on this week’s Late Late Show valentines special with Aisling Bea and Laura Whitemore. “I’m very very proud to be Irish and seeing all these amazing Irish actors and actresses just absolutely, and writers as well, so many amazing Irish books, bands and directors,” he said.

Irish star Domhnall Gleeson leads the cast of ALICE AND JACK, a 6-part series premieres March 17 at 10/9c on PBS air, PBS.org, the PBS App and the PBS Masterpiece Prime Video Channel. Created and written by Victor Levin (MAD ABOUT YOU, MAD MEN), the series features Andrea Riseborough and Gleeson as the titular characters in what distributor Fremantle described as a “love story for the ages.” The synopsis for the series adds when they first meet they’re bound by a connection so powerful it seems nothing can break it, but will their path lead them to a place of happiness and togetherness? Or will life and their own emotional complexities get in the way.
