Liam Neeson has been tapped to lead a new comedy movie. The 72-year-old actor is in talks to join the cast of 4 KIDS WALK INTO A BANK. Neeson will play former bank robber Danny who is the doting grandfather of Paige, played by Ryder. When Paige hears her grandfather’s ex-gang is roping him into one more steal, she decides to enlist her three best friends to rob the bank the day before to save him the trouble of doing so. This isn’t the first comedy project Neeson has in the works. He’s set to star in the reboot of the spoof crime comedy, THE NAKED GUN.

FOUR LETTERS OF LOVE is based on Niall Williams’ 1997 Irish novel of the same name, about a couple who seem made for each other, pulled together by ghosts, fate and the power of true love. Fionn O’Shea and Ann Skelly play the lovers, with Brosnan (THURSDAY MURDER CLUB) and Carter as their parents, and Gabriel Byrne and Olwen Fouere also among the cast. Shot in Northern Ireland and Ireland last year, FOUR LETTERS OF LOVE will get a theatrical release in the Spring of 2025.

WICKED LITTLE LETTERS star Jessie Buckley will soon grace our screens in the upcoming THE BRIDE. Directed by Maggie Gyllenhaal, and unlike most previous versions of the Frankenstein story, the film is set in 1930s Chicago, with Jessie Buckley taking on the titular role and Christian Bale playing the monster. By all accounts, this project has a very “musical” feel to it and will release on Sep 26 2025.

The ALL OF US STRANGERS star has signed on to appear in the new sci-fi romance from renowned Hungarian filmmaker Lili Horvát – in what will be her first English-language film. According to Deadline, Scott will star alongside PAST LIVES and THE MORNING SHOW actor Greta Lee in the upcoming movie where the duo will play a troubled husband and wife.

SALTBURN star Barry Keoghan has joined the cast of the upcoming PEAKY BLINDERS film with Cillian Murphy, Netflix has confirmed. The Oscar-nominated actor who is also known for his roles in THE BANSHEES OF INISHERIN and LOVE/HATE will feature opposite star Murphy and Rebecca Ferguson in the Tom Harper-directed film. The BBC drama ran for six series, from 2013 to 2022, and the Peaky Blinders film was green-lighted by Netflix in June. Cork actor and Oscar winner Murphy is returning to his iconic role of Tommy Shelby.

THE BANSHEES OF INISHERIN star Kerry Condon has joined fellow Irish acting talent Andrew Scott (RIPLEY) in the upcoming D-Day movie PRESSURE. Condon, born in Thurles, Co Tipperary, will play Dwight D. Eisenhower’s trusted aide Captain Kay Summersby. Filming is due to get underway in the UK next month on the ticking-clock drama about the tense days leading up to the Normandy landings.
